"Earlier in 2008, my family and I started down the path of relocating from Central Illinois to Overbrook, Kansas. I am sure most young families have very busy schedules and this move was above and beyond all of the existing daily items. Dean Goodell was the first Realtor that we contacted in the area. "A couple of years ago my husband and I decided to move back to Kansas. We had been living in Phoenix for five years and were ready to move back home to Kansas. We spent many hours searching the Internet for exactly what we wanted. We wanted beautiful timber with a house on the property. We found numerous places that were of some interest, and with that had called numerous Realtors for help. I had a few agents that seemed to want to help me....but from just calling or emailing from so far away, a lot were short or even unresponsive! I suppose they did not take me seriously. "Because of a job promotion, my wife and I began a search on our own for a home in the Overland Park area. Due to the fact we have and wanted to keep horses, we were looking for something in the country. For commuting purposes and because we liked the area, we concentrated our efforts to the south of the city. After spending some time looking up properties on real estate web sites and driving by them, we knew we were going to need a professional to assist us in our search.
